I completely understand where you’re coming from. I too have people in my life that I’m not 100% sure about. It’s hard to know the truth and to desperately desire that your loved ones come to an understanding of who Jesus is and what He did for them. My advice would be to never give up praying. Keep at it. God hears your prayers, and He is faithful. I’ve heard some amazing testimonies brought about by years of prayer! Be ready and willing to speak if God asks you to. And don’t worry about how eloquent it sounds, just let the Holy Spirit do the talking. (Paul did the same in 1 Corinthians 2:1-5)

Let me say what a well stated post Alyssa! I love what you said about being willing and obedient. My mother’s youngest brother passed away this week. Not sure if he’s in Heaven. Has my youngest brother on my mind. I try to share my faith and also let Him see how God has transformed me since the stroke. I pray he continues to work in his heart. So glad to visit your site today via Grace & Truth. I really like what you are doing here. Have a wonderful weekend and a blessed Resurrection Sunday!

I’m in a situation were my husband is not a Christian and my teenage son did make a decision when he was younger but he’s about to turn 16 and I’m not 100% were his heart is…. I have scuffled with the topic you wrote about for 10 years that’s when I became a Christian I really would appreciate some thoughts and prayers and some advice thank you for your article…

It can be so hard to share with family. I love your advice to listen to our hearts when we feel like he wants us to share our faith. And it’s encouraging to know that even Paul couldn’t convince people with his teaching. This is a great reminder that although we need to listen to God and share our faith we need to trust him to change the hearts of our loved ones. Thank you for sharing this at #100HappyDays!
