Haha! The destruction of the temple was quite the ordeal indeed… (One of the best sources is The Works of Flavius Josephus.)

I will definitely check out those biographies! I LOVE reading stories of how God intervened in the lives of those who came before us. I am so thankful for all those who were willing to speak out when necessary as well as those who believed God for the impossible in their circumstances. Such a faith builder!

History has always been one of my favorite subjects too, and I love learning about church history in particular. One of my favorite ways to grasp faith-history is to read biographies of Christians like Martyn-Lloyd Jones, Nelson Bell, Jonathon Edwards, etc. Iain Murray is an excellent historical christian biographer you might enjoy if you don’t already : ) Thanks for bringing out some of these important points abotu theology, history, and how the Lord’s emphasis is more on knowing Him with our hearts. I need to learn more about the destruction of the temple!
