3 Ways to Share the Gospel Without Saying a Word
When it comes to ways to share the Gospel with others, I’ve learned many methods throughout my years as a Christ follower. I’ve learned the importance of preparing my own personal testimony. (After all, no one can argue with your story.) I’ve also learned the importance of knowing the Bible well enough to share it. (Be prepared in and out of season, right?) But what about those in our lives who don’t want to talk about Jesus?
Are there ways to share the Gospel of Jesus without saying a word?

Live out loud.
Our lives often have a lot more to say than our mouths do. After all, they do say that “actions speak louder than words.” When it comes to sharing the Gospel, this couldn’t be a truer statement. Yes, there are times and places to share with words; but more often than not, our actions say far more than our words ever could.
Jesus never promised us a life without troubles, but He DID promise us a life filled with His peace and joy… even in the midst of struggle. Do the people around you see this in your life? Can they see the peace of God ruling your heart? Do they see you complaining and worrying about life? Or do they see you relying on your Savior?
You can’t preach about a Savior who transforms your heart and life, yet live in a way that doesn’t demonstrate that change.
Love, love, and more love.
Jesus commanded us to love others the way He loved us. (That is quite a commandment!) Do the people around you see this love? Are you forgiving unconditionally with no strings attached? Are you walking in love even when those around you are attacking you or putting you down?
This type of love is not only counter-cultural, many would probably even say it’s foolish. After all, no one wants to be a doormat or to be hurt by the people we love. But the truth is that this type of love breaks boundaries in a way that nothing else can. And since you have the love of Jesus flowing through your heart, you don’t have to love like this in your own strength. You can instead allow His love to flow through you.
They will know us by our love for one another.
It’s one thing to love and serve the lost, but it’s another thing entirely to make sure we demonstrate love towards one another. As Christians, we have a tendency to forget that God called us to love each other as brothers and sisters in Him. What does it look like to the world when Christians argue? How are we representing Christ when we bicker and complain about each other?
This type of arguing isn’t new. In fact, many of Paul’s letters in the New Testament addressed quarreling and bitterness within the early church. The enemy has been using this tactic from the very beginning. We can’t demonstrate the love of Jesus to the world when we can’t even get along among ourselves.
Some of the best ways to share the Gospel of Jesus involve no words at all.
I think it’s safe to say that many of us have friends or family members who don’t want us talking to them about Jesus. But that doesn’t mean we can’t share His love with them in other ways.
Be an example. Demonstrate His love. And live in such a way that His light shines through.
Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. – Matthew 5:16
